Okay..yes..I am aware that a joey isn’t actually a breed of animal..
The Amazing/slightly gross Joey fact of the day is that the embryo climbs from the womb into the pouch of the mummy kangeroo when their front legs are developed enough so they have the strength to make the epic journey. The embryo then develops in the pouch and is initially permenantly attached to the teat.
