( I can’t believe that I actually subliminally coordinate with my illustrations!)
WOW I had such a wonderful weekend at TB&TB musical last weekend!
It was fantastic hearing the live music in connection with the book-
it actually brought me and my friend to tears, it was so beautiful!
Whilst I was up in that neck of the woods, I also got to take a quick peek at my latest illustration for Queen’s Hall Theatre!
Really happy with how the illustration of the violin came out on the
banners along the building wall and on the brochures too!
Also, I FINALLY set up a tumblr account!
Yay! So now you can follow/add/question,
(or whatever it is you do on tumblr.. as it’s all alien to me right now!)
and say Hi! You can visit me here! <(click me!)
Sorry for the rather eclectic post!
Life is rather hectic at the mo!
Night night all!

Queen’s Hall Theatre Banners
September 9th, 2011 § 1 Comment

Have you ever wanted to see Jojo Norris Illustrations hanging high on a building in banner form? Of course you have! If you’re in that neck of the woods be sure to visit Edinburgh and pop into the Queen’s Hall Theatre! You can find tonnes of information about incredible musicians that will be playing throughout this Autumn season, see some amazing live music, and also get to see these rather snazzy banners and brochures up close! Thank you to Andy Catlin for these photos!
In other news, my collective ‘The Davenport shop of originality’ is moving! They’re relocating to a beautiful open aired gallery, called the Hopkinsons Gallery, which is really close to Nottingham train station. Make sure you drop in and say Hi in a few weeks! You can still find my foxy cushions and ugly walruses, and even an original Robot screenprint there! (Along with incredible other artworks which simply ooze talent!)
Some of my new photos coming for you soon!
Queen’s Hall Theatre Edinburgh! Autumn 2011 Brochure.

Be sure to check out the Queen’s Hall Theatre’s brochure and website! Here you can find information on the latest musical talent to be performing in Scotland, and you can also see my illustration of a saxophone player with some music-inspired pattern work. Drawn by hand and then digitally edited, the image shows my saxophone player illustration layered with a pattern, featuring the neck of a guitar and the curves of the instrument. I wanted to create a performance atmosphere with my illustration and create a fun, jazzy feel that also has slight Autumnal characteristics.
Be sure to drop by the QH if you’re in that neck of the woods and pick up a brochure!
