Hello again!

Wow it’s been such a long time since I posted, about three years! A lot has happened since then, but as I’m having a website overhaul I feel that I should start reblogging too!

The latest exciting news is that a delicious Edinburgh Gin flavour has been released just in time for Christmas, and I was delighted to Illustrate it for The Spencerfield Spirit Company. I’m so happy with how the label has printed and turned out with the gold foil on the logo. I also love that textured canvas effect on the label.

Looking forward to trying this one- it sounds so yummy!

Spot the Vapourer Moth Caterpillar!

I spotted this adorable little dude outside yesterday- he’s so fluffy! I couldn’t resist grabbing my camera and taking a few photos!

This little caterpillar is an Orgyia Antiqua larvae, and will grow into a Rusty Tussock Moth.

Queen’s Hall Edinburgh Festival Design!

Here’s the latest design for Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh– As usual this design is for the Festival brochure and the banners outside too! Really pleased with how this turned out and I’m delighted to say that I’m working with QH for another year designing all of their brochures and banners. I’ll try and get a photo or two of the banner in situ up here too.

Illustration Friday: Suspend

Suspend

Suspend is this week’s illustration Friday, It feels like a long time since I’ve had the time for an I.F. as I’ve been busy with the Boy and the Bunnet launch and the next design for the Queen’s Hall Theatre! So anyway this week here’s a huuuuge humpback whale being lifted away through the clouds, suspended by some balloons. It’s quite a mixed media piece with a bit of pen, ink and watercolour.
